Request a session in Cologne →Why a studio in Cologne?
Cologne is the city of broadcasters and production companies. WDR and RTL broadcast from here, joined by post-production houses, production companies and agencies from across the Rhineland. Anyone voicing a spot, a trailer or an explainer series there wants the talent in the room, not a file arriving from another city.
That is why we keep a studio and a creative hub in Cologne. Recording and direction happen on site, with you and your client behind the glass. Editing, mix and master follow in our Frankfurt studio, and you receive the finished file in the formats your broadcaster or channel asks for.
Broadcast material is delivered to EBU R128 and in the delivery specs of ARD, ZDF and RTL. For agencies that means one contact for casting, recording and post-production, and a session that fits the production schedule.
What happens in the
Cologne studio.
Voice recording with direction
Talent in the booth, you and your client behind the glass. We direct, record alternatives and mark the takes so nothing is missing in the edit.
Voice-over and voice casting
Shortlist of three to five voices with samples, native speakers in 40+ languages. Fee, buy-out and usage rights are settled before the session, not after.
TV, radio and trailers
Spots, station IDs, trailer voice-over and re-voicing for Cologne productions. Delivered to EBU R128 in the broadcasters' formats.
Explainer video, e-learning, IVR
Series with many modules that have to sound the same for months. We log microphone, distance and room so module 40 sounds like module 1.

Frequently asked questions
about the Cologne studio.
Yes. Cologne is one of our three locations alongside Berlin and Frankfurt, with a studio and a creative hub. This is where we record voice talent with direction and meet clients for presentations or sign-off. Mix and master follow in Frankfurt. For broadcasters and agencies in the Rhineland, the trip is short.
You receive the address with your booking confirmation. We do not publish it, so that talent and clients can work with us undisturbed. Our postal address is in the imprint.
Yes, that is what the creative hub is for. Director, client and agency sit behind the glass, and script changes are recorded right in the session. Anyone who cannot travel listens in over Source-Connect or Session Link and gives feedback live.
Studio time with direction, talent fee and buy-out are itemised separately. An explainer video with two to three minutes of script usually lands between 800 and 2,500 € including talent, studio and post-production. TV spots with well-known voices cost more. The quote arrives within 24 hours.
Yes. Presentations, workshops and sign-offs take place in the creative hub without a voice session too, for example when you want to play a sound identity to your client on studio monitors. Request the slot with date and purpose.
