Our main studio is at our headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. Studio designer Jan Morel planned the control room personally and fitted it out with his Signature Line by Artnovion: handcrafted wooden acoustic modules, plus desk and speaker stands from the same line. This is where we mix, master, produce and record.

A mix is only as good as the room it is made in. That is why the Frankfurt control room is fitted out entirely with Artnovion's Jan Morel Signature Line. Jan Morel has worked in studio technology since 1985 and in room acoustics since 2005, designing studios for David Guetta, Hardwell, Martin Garrix and Ummet Ozcan, among others. Since 2018 he has developed his own line with Artnovion. Jan Morel planned our control room personally, came on site and installed the acoustics with his craftsmen. The wooden absorbers and diffusers are handcrafted, and the desk and speaker stands (Vector Stand) come from the same line. After our move, we rebuilt the room following his principles.

Monitoring. Main monitoring by Neumann: KH 420 and KH 310 with the KH 750 subwoofer. Yamaha NS-10 serve as B monitors, the classic cross-check for any mix. For Dolby Atmos the control room is equipped with 7.1.4 monitoring. The second workstation has its own Genelec and Yamaha monitors (HS80M with subwoofer).
Live room. A separate live room with piano, an 88-key Fender Rhodes Mark II, guitars, master keyboards, synthesizers and a selection of microphones. Preamps and compression include the Universal Audio LA-610, with RME converters and interfaces.
Podcast and location. A dedicated podcast and video podcast set with its own equipment, plus mobile gear for set and location sound: Sound Devices MixPre-6 field recorder, Sennheiser shotgun microphone and boom pole.
