Our Cologne branch is a fully equipped recording studio, just like our main studio in Frankfurt. A whole band can record here at the same time, with drums, amps and a vocal booth in place, and mixing and mastering happen on site. Voice recordings, audiobooks and podcasts are made here too.

The large live room has a drum kit that is always set up and can be fully miked. Guitar and bass amps are there, plus a piano and a double bass, with a trained double bass player from our network if you need one. The band plays together, as in the rehearsal room, and every instrument gets its own track.
Inside the live room there is a separate vocal booth. Singers, single instruments or amps record there, isolated from the rest of the band, with the control room behind the glass. We use the same booth for voice recordings, audiobooks and podcasts.
Equipment. Preamps from Chandler Limited (Germanium Pre Amp/DI) and Neve (1073DPA), a selection of renowned microphones, compressors and amps, plus guitars. Main monitoring is by KS Digital, and two further workstations have their own KRK and Genelec monitors.
Mixing and mastering happen right in Cologne, just as in Frankfurt. We do sound design in both studios, and music built track by track is also produced in Frankfurt.

Band recording

We settle line-up, songs and goal, whether demo, EP, album or single tracks, and then plan the studio days.
Recording
The band plays together in the room, vocals and overdubs follow in the booth. You listen in the control room.
Mixing
We mix in Cologne and send you work in progress. Changes are discussed right at the mix.

The master comes in the formats you need, with the stems if you like.
