From microscopically precise voice recording to surgical dialogue editing and a "larger-than-life" vocal mix. We created a voice track that radiates extreme intimacy and warmth, while simultaneously cutting through any broadcast environment effortlessly and powerfully.

The challenge in voice dubbing for a top-tier non-profit organization lies in the extremely fine line between intimacy and assertiveness. The message of Aktion Mensch requires a warm, almost whispering empathy that emotionally connects with the viewer and builds trust.
At the same time, this delicate voice take must survive in a loud and heavily compressed TV commercial break. The voice must not appear thin or weak, but must possess a confident, tangible presence (an "in-your-face" sound). Every tiny mouth click or wrong breath would instantly destroy this illusion on television.

To create this flawless and present voice, we subjected the voice take to an uncompromising high-end editing process:
High-Resolution Voice Recording
The foundation was an extremely high-resolution voice recording. In controlled studio acoustics and with premium microphones, we captured every micro-expression of the voice. The direction was fully focused on emotional timing and the perfect balance between closeness and energy.
Surgical Dialogue Editing
This was followed by surgical editing. We cleaned the recording at the sample level: Unwanted breaths were manually reduced (not completely deleted, to preserve naturalness), mouth clicks were completely removed, and syllables were timed precisely to the millisecond to match the visual pacing of the commercial.
Advanced Vocal Processing
The dry take was then refined. Using dynamic equalizers, we eliminated resonances, while harmonic saturation gave the voice more "body." Gentle de-essing controlled sharp sibilants without dampening the brilliance.
The Final Broadcast Voice Mix
Finally, multiband compression came into play to give the voice that massive broadcast presence. The dynamics were compressed so that the voice track floated constantly and powerfully above the background music, crystal clear and broadcast-ready at all times.
